What's the Deal with Flathead Lake's Water Levels?

There has been tons of controversy surrounding the issue of Flathead Lake's low water levels. If you're here looking for answers, join the club!

At Captain's Marine we have been listening to the experts, forming our own decisions and opinions, but most importantly, informing the customers we know it will affect. (Those with boat lifts ON Flathead Lake, and potentially if the water gets too low, those with docks).

While we don't know for sure what the rest of summer will look like for slip and dock owners on Flathead, what we do know is this:

1) The boat launches are open, and with enough patience, they are great way to get out on our beautiful lake

2) There are hundreds, if not thousands, of other lakes in North West Montana just begging to be explores

We know this is an inconvenient situation, it has been affecting many of our clients, and even the owner himself. We're simply trying to find the silver lining in all of it, which we've concluded is: How lucky are we to enjoy the pristine Montana lakes in our boat!?
