Many of you have come into Captain's Marine over the past few weeks and seen a showroom that looked about like this.
While some of you may already know about the inventory shortage that shocked the boating industry, many people do not...
Meaning we got a lot of "are you going out of business!?" Quite the opposite, actually! We have had a record shattering year, and we are simply running out of boats.

Back in March and April, boat manufacturers, like most other businesses, were forced to close their doors.

The shutdown happened in that urgent time frame where 2021 models were just starting to get built.. A time frame that would normally allow new boats to get delivered to us throughout August and September.

So, boat manufacturers not building new boats + boat sales spiking at all time records = us, (among all other boat dealers), running out of inventory.
Aka a pretty wild equation that we seriously did not see coming.

So what now? What comes next?
Well, more boats of course!
We have a vast array of beautiful, fresh, new inventory on the way. It's just going to take longer than normal.

We'll be seeing boats sprinkle in as early as September and as late as February 2021.

We are strongly urging anyone who wants to boat next year to order a boat this fall.
We know it's hard to think about next summer when this one is just coming to an end, but it's so important this year because we just don't know what's going to happen.

We want to thank everyone who contributed to this unprecedented year. Running low on inventory is a good problem to have.
We are also so sorry to those who may have missed out, and we encourage you to keep checking our website's inventory, or to order ahead!
