I came to Captain's Marine (CM) a few years back looking for parts and a different customer experience. I was pleasantly surprised and felt very good about the way I was helped. I knew that if and when we were ready to buy another boat I would stop in and consider a purchase with CM. Last summer I stopped by to look at pontoon boats and had the good fortune to talk with the owner. He gave me some insightful advice and suggested I come by in the fall for a good deal. Recently my partner and I stopped in and we're met by Kay, the head of sales. Wow, Kay is a very knowledgeable regarding products and a most delightful person. She sat down with us and helped us to determine what kind of watercraft would satisfy our needs. She's not pushy, listens carefully and it was easy to pull out the checkbook :-). We found there was a last year's model that fit our needs and our budget. We were offered fair trade in on our Regal 21 OBX 200hp.At any rate, we found it easy to develop trust when working with Kay. It is easy to recommend CM and Kay without reservations.

Captains Marine. Clean, local, well staffed. My wife bought me a boat a gift, sight unseen by me. Kay was her contact. I now have an absolutely beautiful Lund 1650 angler. Their custom shop "Lowitz" did a phenomenal job on my custom top. Dave was the craftsman. There were a few small issues on the way to delivery, not to be unexpected. What Captains delivered was perfection, it's what I asked for. I couldn't recommend the dealership, there staff or Kay any higher. They satisfied me, and I'm a difficult customer. Spend your time here, as I will for any future needs.

We always choose Captains when we need supplies. The owner earned my respect BIG TIME when he mailed me a check for my fuel costs after the salesman didn't want to pay for it after implying he would during our talks. That's honorable and I live by that same ethic.

My Cobalt R8 had a steering linkage recall so Captain's was my local dealer authorized to make the repair. I reached out a couple months ago and set up an appointment for early spring. Mike, Jarrod and Dusty were great. Excellent communication throughout the whole process including the ordering of the part, arrival of the part and scheduling. Much to my delight, the repair only took a half day to complete so I was able to drop off and pick up on the same day. I will be taking my Cobalt to Captain's Marine in the future for maintenance, etc... and I highly recommend these guys!

Purchased a new Weldcraft from Captain’s earlier this year. I had been shopping around for a fishing boat for a while and had a lot of questions and concerns about such a large purchase. The staff were very patient and helpful throughout the entire process and I never felt pressured. I had a warranty issue with the windshield in my boat and they sent a service employee 60 miles to my residence to pick the boat up. They had the glass replaced and my boat back to me within two days. Other than that the boat has been amazing and everything I ever wanted in a fishing boat. The customer service is top notch and they still check in with me from time to time to see how things are going which I appreciate. They care about their customers and it shows. I would highly recommend Captain’s Marine to anyone looking to purchase a boat. Thanks Mitch and Kay for a headache free buying experience.

Definitely would recommend Captain’s Marine. They managed to make an unfortunate situation an extremely positive one. I had originally purchased a 2024 Lund Impact, but upon going to pick it up, an accident occurred that caused damage to the boat. The owner came out and was very apologetic and offered to make a deal on a nicer boat instead. I ultimately ended up leaving with an upgraded Lund Crossover that was a foot longer had a bigger motor, upgraded trailer, and an overall nicer package for roughly the same price which was a fantastic deal. Accidents happen, but its how someone reacts that allows you to really judge their character and Captain’s Marine went out of there way to make it right.

We didn't know we were buying a boat when we walked in the door but we left with a beautiful Lund at the end of the day and couldn't be happier! Kay greeted us with a friendly, no pressure demeanor which I really appreciated. She walked us through what was available within our budget and throughout the entire process explained everything. She is amazing and made the experience so delightful! Even though we live 6 hours away, Captains Marine and Kay will be our go to Lund servicers and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the boat world!

Purchased a brand new pontoon last year and traded in this year for a 10 year old Mastercraft. They gave us an amazing deal. We specifically went back to Captains Marine because of their wonderful customer service and willingness to make everything perfect and the customer happy. This is the place to buy your boat! From the minute we stepped inside, everything was first class. Our salesman was great, educated us about pontoon boats and South Bay, no pressure and very honest. Was such an easy process. No surprises at all. Then he brought the boat to our marina slip- took us out to show us all the bells and whistles and answered any questions and gave us great advice and tips. We just had Ron come back to our slip and take our boat out, and he drove it to storage. We will have detailing done, winterization, anything we need. Ron was amazing! We had the best summer on Flathead Lake thanks to Ron and Captains Marine! Ty so much!

Captain's Marine is incredible to work with. I talked to Kay in sales about a month ago while seeking a Mastercraft NXT. We talked, texted and emailed about options and features needed and new vs used. I wanted a boat that would both ski and surf, two features that are often at odds with each other in a boat. She called pro skiers that she knows to ask about wakes of the boats I had narrowed it down to (NXT 21, 22 or 23). She found videos of wakes. We also did a test drive to ensure the wake would work for my needs. She's transparent, kind, helpful, responsive and a good human. I appreciate that she wanted to help find the right boat, not just jam me into something. It was a wonderful experience. We are so happy with the boat we purchased, the NXT 23. It can trim out to good skiing levels as well as great surf. Very much looking forward to this summer. Thank you, Captain's and Kay!
